Every month, we launch a new competition around a specific category — coffee, pizza, cocktails, breweries, etc. We nominate 10-15 of the best spots in Denver, you try them and vote for your favorites, and at the end of the month we crown the winners. It's part discovery guide, part community vote, part excuse to explore Denver intentionally instead of hitting the same three places on repeat.

Nope. Anyone can vote for free (you get 1 vote per competition). But if you want to actually try the nominees, we offer a pass that gets you credits at each spot — plus you get 10 votes instead of 1, so you have way more influence on the outcome. Think of it as: free to watch, $20 to play.

We start with local intel — what people are actually talking about, where lines form, what spots have cult followings. Then we look at quality, originality, and whether a place actually adds something to Denver's scene. We're not trying to list everything; we're trying to find the best of something specific. No pay-to-play, no corporate chains (unless they're genuinely exceptional), just honest curation.
